A language spoken with dials, altitude, and trust.
It was the conversation between me, a pilot, and a plane (Cessna 152, 172).
This fascination with complex systems led me from my electronics and robotics degree to the shop floor at Airbus in Toulouse.
I wanted to see how these huge machines were not just flown but built.
To design for machines, you have to understand their logic.So I learned to code. To build robots. To think in systems and constraints.
But standing there, I realized something fundamental.
We interact with our world 24x7x365.When those experiences aren't designed for us, they create friction.
They break trust. That became the problem I needed to solve.
To design for people, you have to understand their stories.I believe we learn those stories with all our senses.So I watched. I listened. I learned to feel the friction they felt.
The plane. The code. The person. They all speak. They all listen.
My work is to translate it and my mission is always simple:
To create a conversation between a person and the task at hand.
Clear. Effortless. Human.
